PTB Welcomes the New Year
It's 2010!
Picture This Ballooning has not stopped over the holidays.
Christmas, New Year and summer are simply not holidays for our dedicated pilots and team here at PTB.
Although some extreme weather conditions have made it difficult, balloons have been soaring through the skies throughout January.
Although we can't believe that summer is nearly over already, we are very excited about this New Year.
Helping us kickstart 2010 is our NEW special shape balloon. Our Libra Lucky Box will be touring the country and radio stations so look out for it across the skies - including when we fly the senior executive team from SCA (the owners of the Libra brand) in the near future. Anyone who was in San Remo for the San Remo Challenge on the 30th of January will surely have noticed the giant Carlton Draught Pot tethered behind the pub - photos to be uploaded as soon as possible.
The sheppARTon festival (Shepparton art festival), now in its fourteenth year, is one of Victoria's most highly anticipated community arts events. This year, Picture This Ballooning has been invited to provide a wonderful opportunity to view the region's beautiful orchards and vineyards from a unique perspective. Picture This Ballooning prides itself on providing first-class service and safety to its passengers. The start of the new year has meant investing in new gear, ensuring that when you fly with PTB you fly in comfort knowing that only the latest in ballooning and safety equipment is used.
In other news, Denise - our most lovable staff member - has started to return to the office after having the most beautiful baby girl. Little Heidi has been joining us in the office, so you may hear her gurgling away in the background when you call us. We are so happy to have our Denise back. We won't be grumpy on the phones anymore!
Finally (and up until now this has been a secret) Picture This Ballooning is going to have a baby of its own. A most exciting new passenger balloon is on its way, and although we can't yet reveal everything, keep your eyes on the skies for the world-famous brand...coming soon!
