We're coming to Canberra!

Visit Canberra between Saturday 6th and Sunday the 14th March and you, your family and your friends can take part in the 2010 Canberra Festival Balloon Spectacular. Balloons will take off from the lawns of Old Parliament House each morning of the nine-day festival (weather permitting). Now you have the opportunity to experience with Picture This Ballooning lifting off from this majestic location over Lake Burley Griffin and the surrounding picturesque city of Canberra.
Unlike other ballooning experiences on offer during the Canberra Festival Balloon Spectacular, which only offer up to 45-minute flights, Picture This Ballooning packages involve a single hop, one-hour balloon flight (no swapping over of passengers) in Australia's newest balloon, the massive FUJITSU Kavanagh 240, followed by breakfast on the field after your landing. We are proud to be the commercial partner of FUJITSU until at least 2013.
This year, FUJITSU is the major sponsor of this event.
Whether you’d prefer to view the experience from above or from the ground, the choice is entirely yours. Entertainment and activities are on offer throughout the day for all the family to enjoy. Pilots will begin balloon inflation around 6.15am each morning and expect to take flight by 7am. So come on down to the lawns of Old Parliament House during the Canberra Festival Balloon Spectacular and get amongst some of the fun that Canberra has to offer.
